Our History

Northland Financial is a locally owned, independent community bank originally founded 
in 1932 as the Bank of Steele. Today, Northland Financial is a financial center complete 
with banking, insurance, investment and leasing services with over 150 million in assets. 
With locations in Steele, Medina, Downtown Bismarck and as of August 2007, North Bismarck, 
our goal is to offer products and services designed to meet the needs of our customers.

While many things have changed over our bank's long history, one thing has remained the same; 
commitment to our customers and our communities. Our banking style is 'hometown' where 
people still come first!
